Frequently asked questions

Where does the data come from?
From the DGT (Spain's traffic authority) vehicle registry, via its microconsultas service. It's passed through exactly as the registry provides it, unmodified.
Can I test it before paying?
Yes. Test plates return real responses and don't consume balance, so you can build the whole integration before buying anything.
What if I query the same plate twice?
Within 24 hours we return the data we already fetched at no extra cost. Past that window, fresh data is requested.
Do queries expire?
No. As long as the service is running, queries you've bought stay on your account with no time limit.
What happens if the DGT doesn't respond?
The request is rejected with a clear error and your balance isn't charged. You can keep re-reading what you already queried.
